Founded in 2018, Elite Engineering & Design is a Kamloops-based mechanical engineering consulting firm supporting the forestry, mining, and heavy-industrial sectors across British Columbia. We help clients move from field problems to buildable solutions by combining practical site experience with clear, controlled engineering deliverables.
Our core services include Field Engineering and Site Support, Design and Analysis Engineering, and Detailed Fabrication / Shop Drawing Packages. Whether the need is inspection and troubleshooting, a new or modified mechanical design, or a shop-ready drawing and DXF package for fabrication, our focus is on safety, reliability, and documentation that trades and project teams can execute with confidence.
Elite Engineering & Design is led by Terence Loring, P.Eng. (EGBC #45787). Terence brings experience across mining, forestry, and industrial environments, with a practical, reliability-minded approach grounded in inspection, failure investigation, mechanical design, and fabrication support.
